the parlour team
Lisa always dreamed of owning a business. At the age of 18, opting to follow a more creative trajectory, Lisa ventured into the hair industry. School led to an apprenticeship and then a full time job at one of Burlington’s premier salons, where she spent the next eight years learning from an outstanding colorist and teacher. After a quick stint in Florida, Lisa moved back to Vermont and began building her client list while working in Shelburne and Middlebury. In the beginning of 2015, Lisa seized the chance to start her own business and opened Briggs Carriage Company in Brandon, VT. When a client offered her a space in Middlebury, Lisa convinced Megan to join her and together they opened Parlour in August of 2016. Lisa has over 18 years of experience in the hair industry, working exclusively with Goldwell color, and believes strongly that color should be specifically designed for each client. Lisa lives with her husband Mike and sons Bryce and Colby in Salisbury, VT.
Megan, a Middlebury College graduate, never thought she would settle down in Vermont. As a California native, Megan thought her stint here would be temporary, but found Vermont to be a beautiful and comforting place. Megan is very thankful for this opportunity and grateful to have met so many fantastic people at parlour.
